Nankai University brings in Professor Gao Su and Shang Kong Network Talent Fund is presented

On September 14th, the appointment ceremony of Professor Gao Su and Wu Kong Investment—Shang Kong Network Talent Fund presentation ceremony was held in Hai Bing Building, Ba Litai Campus of Nankai University. Professor Gao Su is the brought-in talent, the mathematical logic expert and also the alumni of Nankai University. Principal Cao Xuetao presented a letter of appointment to Professor Gao Su and wore the university badge for him, while Bao Jigang presented a talent fund to Professor Gao Su. Bao Jigang is the 1987 alumni of the Department of Mathematics of Nankai University, the board member of Nankai Entrepreneur Alumni Association, and also the chairman of Shenzhen Wu Kong Investment Management Co. , Ltd. .

Professor Gao Su was an undergraduate from Peking University. He studied for a master degree and was supervised by Hu Guoding from 1989 to 1992 at Chern Institute of Mathematics of Nankai University. He obtained his Ph. D. degree in mathematics from University of California, Los Angeles, in June of 1998 and went on to do postdoctoral research at California Institute of Technology. In 2001, he taught at University of North Texas and was appointed the Regents Professor in 2018. Professor Gao Su is an international leading scholar in the field of mathematical logic and has made a series of breakthroughs in his research works.
